I have also included this image on my front cover this is the artist of the double page spread that I am focusing on. The image automatically draws in the readers attention as it is unusual and therefore stands out. 

This is the image that I chose for my front page. I liked this image as it represented the right genre of music for my magazine as the electric guitar is a good indication that the band is from the indie genre. The image is purposely posed the draw the reader in as one as the models is looking directly at the camera however my other model helps to make the image look more natural as she is looking down. The background helps to attract the younger target audience as the blue is bold and bright. 

These are some of the pictures that I took for my double page spread. I tried a range of settings and poses for my model to see which would be most suitable for my magazine. 

These images are what I am planning on using on my contents page. Some of the images were taken at a gig I went to and the other of another chosen model.
